When setting up POWERPOINT for use with 2XGA images, go to PAGE SETUP and set up pages for 8 inch height and 21.34 width (at default 96 dpi, this gives us the correct 2048x768 configuration).

NOTE: VERY FEW transitions will work well with stereo images in Powerpoint. FADE SMOOTHLY works very well, FADE THROUGH BLACK goes dark between images...WIPE DOWN (or UP) or NO TRANSITION can also be used. DISSOLVE is NOT a good choice!

ALSO! Sound sychronization is not good with POWERPOINT, in our experience.

FOR LAPTOP PRESENTATIONS

The easiest adapter for stereo projection via laptop is the DualHead2Go. Once connected, use FN+F5 keys to utilize laptop monitor (1) and spanned monitors (2) for projectors. Make sure monitors are spanned by setting monitor 2 at 2048x768. We should now have 3 XGA monitors, so we like to have our desktop image at 3XGA! (One for laptop, and two targets to align projectors).

In POWERPOINT "Slide Show/Set Up Show", check Presented by a Speaker (under Show Type), and under Multiple Monitors make sure diplay is on monitor 2 (our horizontal spanned dual monitor/projector)... check Show Presenter View. When you hit F5 should should run on projectors while application (and notes, if written) will be on laptop.
